Lea Valley Glasshouse Growers employ over 2500 staff and produce food with a retail value in excess of £1bn.
over 500 Million Cucumbers & Sweet Salad Peppers are grown along with Tomatoes, Aubergines, Lettuce, Herbs, Flowers, Aquatic, Trees, Shrubs & Bedding Plants.
Lea Valley Members grow in around 350 acres of Glasshouses stretching From London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex & Cambridgeshire to Yorkshire.
There are several job roles available as follows.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Glasshouse Nursery Manager with at least Five experience of protected edible crops such as Cucumbers, Tomatoes or Peppers.

Glasshouse Crop Technician
This work involves crop establishment, crop growth management/agronomy, disease and pest control, irrigation/watering/hydroponics, quality control, harvesting, storage and preparation/management of salad crops.
Namely Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Peppers, Aubergines.
Packhouse Operatives/Fork Lift Drivers
This work involves the grading, packing and storage of crops using a range of machinery.
Working with quality control procedures linked to food production and health and safety ensuring produce meets market specifications.
