Around 300 growers, family & friends from the Horticulture sector enjoyed the Associations first social event for over 20 years.


BBC Radio drive time broadcaster Roberto Perrone hosted the evening where guests enjoyed authentic Italian food, live entertainment, raffles, Games and a Charity Auction conducted by Executive Committee member, Jimmy Russo of Valley Grown Salads.

Auction prizes included a House of Commons bottle of Whiskey signed by British Prime Minister Teresa May which fetched £600.

The 2017 Lea Valley Growers Association Charity Ball raised an amazing £25,000 for the Teens Unite Charity in the Lea Valley.


Lee Stiles welcomed Members & overseas guests to the Lea Valley Growers Association Charity Ball in aid of the Teens Unite Charity.

Then thanked the following people on behalf of members for making the event possible with their support.


The Headline sponsor Alpha FX who donated an amazing £5,000 to sponsor the event.


Gold table sponsors Barclays Bank, First Fix Installations & Fountain Fresh Imports for their generous support.


Further thanks went to Jack and all at Fountain Fresh Imports for also sponsoring the nights wine.


GVZ Glasshouses sponsored the venue and NFU Mutual the evening’s reception sponsors.


Thanks went to Jimmy Russo for hosting the evenings Charity Auction and who also brought a very generous four tables of guests and provided a great auction prize from Valley Grown Salads.
