Thousands of people headed to Waltham Abbey in September for an event celebrating the Great British Cucumber.
The Lea Valley Growers Association helped plan the Festival, The NFU were a major sponsor and the NFU Mutual supplied the Insurance & Risk Management services.
The First Great British Cucumber Festival (Cuefest.co.uk), took place on 17 September.
The aims were to raise awareness of English cucumbers as tasty, safe and healthy, to boost tourist numbers and to increase pride in cucumbers as the flagship industry in the Lea Valley.
The event involved a number of different-themed areas covering topics such as food, Little Italy, health and beauty and even music, which was opened by the Rt Hon MP for Epping Forest Eleanor Laing and Former Tottenham Hotspur Manager Peter Shreeves.
Visitors had the chance to sample drinks made from fruit and vegetables, visit the salad bar, enjoy the fun fair and find out about the centenary of the LVGA.
LVGA Secretary Lee Stiles said: "The Lea Valley produces over 60% of the UK`s cucumbers and is now becoming an important producer of peppers as well.
"The festival was all about reminding people of this and celebrating this success story."
